Runway is the reference platform for AI video generation. With its Gen-4 model (and Gen-3 Alpha), Runway creates impressively cinematic quality videos from text or images.

The Gen-4 model represents a major advancement in visual fidelity, temporal consistency, and motion quality. Generated videos are twice as fast as Gen-2, with photorealistic characters and natural movements.

Runway offers several creation modes: Text-to-Video to generate videos from detailed prompts (up to 1000 characters), Image-to-Video to animate still images, and Video-to-Video to restyle existing footage in cartoon, anime, or other styles.

Advanced control tools include Motion Brush to precisely define movements of specific areas, Director Mode to control structure and style, advanced camera controls, and keyframing to define start/end frames. Video Extender allows extending clips up to 40 seconds.

Act One Animator enables character animation from references, while Lip Syncing automatically synchronizes lips with audio. Exports are available at 1280x768 or 768x1280 at 24fps, with C2PA metadata for provenance.
